A. Design, Engineering and Permits

1) For each Renewable Energy Systems project that includes Solar, Wind and Thermal sites, the following design documents will be generated:

System description

Equipment detail and description

Installation layout

Equipment layout

Key equipment selection and procurement

Equipment installation

System specification and drawing for roof system, and for roof, array, wiring and inverter plans.

Energy Performance Report Expected production Reports

Assessment to Insure Maximum Energy Production

Assistance to comply with requirements for Local and Federal Incentives

Certified  Engineers and technicians to comply Local Governments Requirements and Agencies

2) Structural & Electrical Modifications to build each site will include, but are not limited to, the following:

Address compatibility of new components with existing physical conditions.

Roof mounting details

Integration of solar, wind or thermal systems with existing power sources

Electrical grid interconnection requirements

Local authorities’ certification

Control, monitor and instrumentation

3) Identification of an appropriate location for the equipment and its related components.  The systems will meet the following criteria:

Ease of maintenance and monitoring

Efficient operation

Low operating losses

Secured location and hardware

Compatibility with existing facilities

Federal and local government regulation compliance

Federal and local regulation compliance, including:

Rights to operate

Permits and approvals

Interconnection agreements, when necessary

Tax Credits Grants submission, when applicable

B. Construction

For all system installations (Solar, Wind or Thermal), EnergTech will supply all material, equipment, labor and supervision for the project.  EnergTech will be responsible for all structural and electrical design, engineering, permits, supervision, labor, related materials, subcontracting equipment and tools, as well as, repairing existing finishes affected by work as required for a complete solar, wind or thermal installation.  For each project, a master project schedule will be prepared and shall be updated and reviewed by each contracting party.

C. Solar Systems

For solar system purchase and installation, it is important to note that EnergTech will provide PV panels, inverters, and other required system components.

In addition, EnergTech will work with the coordination of the procurement and installation of PV panels, inverters and other components to comply with required federal and local government regulations.

EnergTech will work with federal and local government agencies on any changes or modifications to the original project specifications.

In addition, EnergTech will supply all materials, equipment, labor and insurance necessary to install and integrate the system with other power sources as required by the proposed design.

For Wind and Thermal Systems, EnergTech will work in the same manner but with the equipment and specifications required for each.

D.  Commissioning:

EnergTech will fulfill all applications, provide and execute equipment-testing procedures for the entire solar, wind or thermal systems, following the manufacturers’ requirements and federal and local government regulations.  All equipment testing will be coordinated with federal and local governments’ and Client’s representatives.  All costs associated with utility interconnection process will be charged based on the rates presented in the BILLING AND PAYMENT section of this proposal.  The direct costs of interconnection will be the project’s owner’s responsibility.

E.  Operation and Maintenance Manuals and As-Built Drawings:

EnergTech will provide a set of site-specific manuals on parts, operations and maintenance for each of the different systems (solar, wind or thermal).  EnergTech will provide related training for the systems maintenance, as well as, a set of as-built drawings.  These requirements shall be delivered prior to acceptance of the site-specific system.

F.  Certifications, Warranties and Guarantees:

EnergTech will provide all the warranties as granted by the manufacturer of each system and equipment component.  Warranties will be provided with each specific proposal.
